Waves Leisure Pool

This brilliant indoor waterpark offers serious fun for all the family! The water temperature is a balmy 30°C, which makes it rather pleasant for adults while the children are having a wet and wild time. Packed full of slides, flumes, and all sorts of water-based adventure, Waves is not to be missed. It also has a nostalgic wave machine and a toddler slide.

Paignton zoo

Kids AND adults love Paignton zoo! With over 2000 animals to see, including gorillas, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, meerkats and monkeys, there is a lot to keep a family busy. Many of the exhibits are indoors, and there is also an indoor play area to enjoy. There is a large indoor restaurant and plenty of areas to hang out under shelter if the weather is not so nice. Plus, they do amazing conservation work at Paignton Zoo, so it is well worth supporting them with your tourist pounds.

Kents Cavern

Kents Cavern is a prehistoric cave system full of wonders! It is one of only two places in the world to show evidence of three species of human. You can also see the remains of an ice age bear and her cub there. The history and geology of Kents Cavern is truly astounding, and by its very nature, the attraction is immune to the British weather system!

It is over 800 years old and has a dramatic story to tell - armoured knights, Spanish Armada prisoners, and one of the largest fine art collections in the region. The building itself has over 122 rooms split over 20 different levels! It's a wonderful place for the whole family to explore, with plenty of activity areas for children and beautiful exotic gardens for adults to enjoy.
